You have demonstrated that you have the confidence and the skill to perform basic ground handling with a horse. This session will provide you with an opportunity to practice everything you have learned in preparation for the safe handling assessment.

Session Objectives

By the end of this session you will:

  • have practiced leading the horse through practical ground training exercises in preparation for your safe handling assessment

  • 7 attitudes of mindfulness – non-judging, patience, beginner’s mind, trust, non-striving, acceptance, and letting go.
